Well it has been a very long time since I have written and if anyone actually read this blog they would be wondering if I had dropped off the face of the earth. However much to your excitement or dismay I have not suffered a major tragedy, and my own death is yet to befall on me.
However in a way a part of me has once again died, and it happens every year, at least once, but I am yet to get used to this process of death. You see I haven't written in forever because of the musical that I was in "the drowsy chaperone", I have had rehearsal after rehearsal, and then two weeks of performing, but now it is all over. The curtain has closed, and we have all received our last standing ovation.
In a way it is all very sad that I, and my fellow cast members will not be performing this show again. In fact it is mostly sad since it is likely that I will never see some of the people who were in this most wonderful show with me again. However the sweet will come though the fact that i now once again have somewhat of a life, I can now have more that two hours to do all of my homework a day, and I will once again know what it is to sleep in on Saturdays, and in fact sleep at all.
So all I have to say to everyone who was in any way involved in this wonderful musical, weather you were there every step of the way or just helped a little, or just came and saw the show is...
"thank you for the music, the song's I'm singing, thanks for all the joy they're bringing, who could live without it I ask in all honesty what would life be, without a song or a dance what are we so I say thank you for the music for giving it to me."
